About the artist Katerina Teise (Creative Director of Slava’s Snow Show)
KT strophy is an artistic pseudonym, born in the creative laboratory of the Yellow Mill near
Paris, created by the genius family of the great artist Slava Polunin, and who gave impetus to
the birth and realization of me as an interdisciplinary artist. The pseudonym KT strophy is my
initials and a metaphor of being. A catastrophe is like a rebellion of the soul against
mediocrity, banality, dullness and excessive seriousness of self-perception in a world of
widespread lies, violence and absurd mediocrity.
Katerina Teise creates images, performances, installations, designs and photographs of
contemporary art for the purpose of self-irony, research of the nature of Man and the nature
of joy. She considers the main goal of her creativity to be joy through the return of her
perception of the world here and now and with harmony with herself and with nature
around through creation and through all organs of perception of the world.
